Commercial Cleaning

Your day to day operations likely don't involve thinking too much about how clean your office space is. You're focused on running the business, keeping customers happy and creating more opportunities. You should be. Leave the cleaning to someone else.

And we don't mean your staff. While keeping their individual work stations disinfected and tidy is a good idea, your team shouldn't have to take out trash (Have you seen it? Gross!) or worse- clean the toilets (Have you seen them? Super gross!). So let's talk about what you can expect from your commercial cleaning team and how commercial cleaning differs from residential cleaning.

Your commercial cleaning team should be covering the following:

  • Regular vacuuming

  • Dusting any visible cobwebs

  • Cleaning glass

  • Cleaning kitchen sinks and wiping down counters

  • Dusting of conference room tables and other blank spaces

  • Emptying trash

  • Mopping laminate flooring (or otherwise appropriately cleaning hardwood, tile, etc.)

  • Wiping down of doors

  • Microwave and fridge cleaning (on request)

  • Additional services as agreed upon

  • Restroom disinfection and keeping paper towels and toiled paper stocked appropriately

Your residential cleaning team should be covering the following:

  • Dusting all surfaces

  • Vacuuming and disinfecting floors as appropriate

  • Emptying trash

  • Disinfecting touchable surfaces

  • Cleaning the kitchen sink and disinfecting counters

  • Optionally cleaning the inside of the dishwasher, fridge, washer and dryer

Your commercial cleaning needs will depend on how often your offices are open, how many people work there, how much trash is produced, and your budget. Your residential cleaning needs will depend on the size of your family, if you have pets (and how many), what types of services you want (Once a month deep cleaning? Regular maintenance cleaning?), and what your budget is. Not sure if you're ready to commit? Ask the companies you're interviewing for a trial period (especially if they require a contract).
